Submit your homework and extra credit to [email protected] with the subject "FF2 – HW2 – HOL ID" or "FF2 – EC2 – HOL ID." Please submit your homework and your extra credit SEPARATELY, with your HOL name and ID somewhere in the email. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. The due date for the assignment is March 31. (I use this email for two Faery Tale related classes. So please label the work so I know which of the homework is which!)

Extra Credit (30 points)
Choose ONE (1) of the following:
A) There are probably many other tales and books that describe the outward "beauty" of the Faery World. Find another story or book where a type of faery realm is described in some way. Is it similar to what many people believe the realm to look like? Or is it much more complex than what many imagine it to be? Explain the world and the story that you've found. 300 words minimum.
B) More lovely artwork! Here's an opportunity to depict what you think the faery realm looks like. Oh, yes. Show me what you think the world of the Fey looks like in its full, resplendent glory! Or, if you think it's a dark, dark place, go ahead, too! ORIGINAL WORK PLEASE!
C) Each of the faery worlds (Elvenwood, Fablehaven, and the Realm) have its respective faery rulers (the Lady in Green, the Faery Queen, and the Purple Emperor). Imagine that you've just been chosen to succeed one of these rulers. Clearly you're fantastically boggled by this mess because you're a mortal. But the ruler insists that you would be a good, temporary choice because you haven't yet lost your sympathy toward the mortals. Your first task is to come up with a list of 10 or so laws that can be applied to both the faery and mortal realms. What are these laws? Or, if you'd rather, what are the repercussions for these laws? Be creative with this, it doesn't have to be in list-format!
All graphics must be uploaded to an image server like Photobucket or Imageshack. I'd prefer not to open attachments, please and thank you!
D) Don't you love it when logic puzzles and stories come together?
Once upon a time, there was a king in a far-off land with five semi-lovely daughters. Every night, these five princesses rise from their beds and disappear through a portal to the Faery World. There, they meet with five spectacularly handsome princes and dance different dances for a certain amount of time. While the king is much frustrated with this arrangement, I don't really blame the princesses for their apparent desire for fun. Still, it would be nice to know which of the couples are sticking together! Figure out the name of each princess, the prince she dances with, the type of dance the particular couple is dancing, and how long each couple usually dances for (20 to 40 minutes).
